We're really tiny

Look at this graphic artist's rendering of the planets in size relative to each other. It's amazing how small the earth is in relation to the other planets. Kind of puts in perspective how small we are in the universe. Pluto's in the picture, it's really really dinky! But now it's not even considered a planet, so that's probably crushed its self-esteem.

I became aware of this rendering from Ken Robinson's videos on YouTube -- one of which I shared recently in this blog. He shared a set of planetary photos and remarked that if we think we are having a bad day, a problem that looks so huge and insurmountable in our life is but a tiny speck of a problem when seen in relation to the whole universe.
